GoLang Bangalore meetup group will help connect talent to hiring managers.

Summary

Fill your GoLang job description in this template. Send the link to me. We will display/play it at our meetups which should help you reach a niche audience suited to your requirements.

Go continues to be the most in-demand programming language for another year.

See hired.com report: https://hired.com/page/state-of-software-engineers/#languages

Based on what I am witnessing at companies that I conduct Go training and short term consulting for primarily in India and also a couple of places in Europe and South East Asia, this demand is only going to accelerate. Big companies started experimenting with Go for their enterprise products more than a year ago, and it is now gathering steam.

Bridge Talent and Companies

As demand grows, we are seeing that hiring managers could use a little help. At 5,000+ and growing, we, at the GoLang Bangalore meetup group, believe we can be a bridge to connect GoLang talent to hiring managers.

5,000+ and Growing at GoLang Bangalore

We have, of course, always encouraged hiring managers to attend our meetups and pitch job openings. However, it is fair to say that, with your schedule, you might not be always available. But, what if we could own that for you?

Give us the Job Description and we’ll present it

We are starting a new initiative — this is a community initiative, and free — where you provide us a short Job Description in a pre-defined Google Slide format.

Here is the template and a sample.

You will need Google Slides for this. Go to the link, make a copy of the template slide, fill in the details, and share it with me.

To make a copy of the slides:

After you are done editing your copy, click the Share button on the top right of Google Slides:

Set the sharing settings as “Anyone with the link can view”.

You can then share the link with me on LinkedIn or my email.

help you reach a niche audience suited to your requirements

We will collate them, display, and play it at our monthly meetups for you which should help you reach a niche audience suited to your requirements.

Cheers!

p.s. There are some things we’re yet to figure out like how many meetups will we display a position for? We’ll figure out some details like this as we go along and keep you updated.
